NACMA's awards honor outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 14 categories with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness.

NACMA, which is administered by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), is the first organization of its kind to provide educational and networking opportunities; enhancement of acceptable operation standards and ethics; and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of athletics marketing administrators.

Now in its 53rd year, NACDA and its 17 affiliates are the professional and educational associations for college athletics administrators at more than 1,700 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
