Chaypin Buchanan is in her fourth year as an Associate Athletic Trainer and sixth year overall at Emory & Henry College. This year, she will continue her work with the women's soccer, equestrian and men's & women's tennis teams.

As an undergraduate in Emory & Henry's athletic training education program, Buchanan worked with the Wasps' men's & women's basketball, men's soccer, women's swimming and softball programs. She also did a rotation in the Washington County (Virginia) School System.

Buchanan, a native of Saltville, Virginia, graduated from E&H with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training in 2015.
