Josh Voigt is in his first year as Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning at Emory & Henry College. Voigt joined the E&H staff in the summer of 2022. He is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and management of individual and group strength & conditioning training programs for the College's more than 500 student-athletes.
Before being hired at Emory & Henry, Voigt was an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Dubuque in Iowa. There he oversaw all aspects of sports performance for men’s and women’s basketball, golf and women’s volleyball.
Prior to his time at Dubuque, Voigt was a Strength & Conditioning Intern Coach with the football programs at both the Air Force Academy and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Voigt also spent time as an intern at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he worked with the basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and swimming and diving programs.
Voigt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dubuque.
