Last year, E&H posted an 11-21 overall record and a 4-12 mark in league games. The Wasps return 32 players from last year's squad and welcome 14 newcomers to Southwest Virginia. Leading the returners is senior outfielder Ben Sexton (Lebanon, Va.), who was named to the All-ODAC Third Team a year ago.

Randolph-Macon College is picked to win the league, earning nine first-place votes while Shenandoah is second with two number one picks. Roanoke College takes third and the final top nod while Virginia Wesleyan University is fourth and Hampden-Sydney College is fifth.

Emory & Henry will open the season this weekend with a three-game series at Berry College. The Wasps will play a pair of seven-inning games on Saturday at noon and complete the series on Sunday with a nine-inning contest at 1:00 p.m.
