VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University Baseball Team (10-6, 6-1 ODAC) picked up a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference victories over Emory & Henry College (3-17, 0-7 ODAC) Saturday afternoon. The Marlins took the opener by a 7-2 score and completed the sweep with a 7-0 victory.

Game One
Virginia Wesleyan got out to a 2-0 lead in the first on a double to right-center by Brady Fallon. E&H answered with a run in the second as junior designated hitter Chandler Kezele (Marshall, Va.) doubled to the left side.
Two runs in the second by Tyriq Campbell and a pair of home runs by Zack Clark and Fallon in the fourth pushed the Marlins' advantage to 7-1. E&H scored its final run when sophomore third baseman Caleb Haynes (Covington, Va.) reached on a fielder's choice.
Andrew Lowe earned the win for VWU, scattering two runs and nine hits with seven strikeouts over six innings of work. Wasp sophomore J.T. Agosto (Cornelius, N.C.) took the loss, allowing two earned runs on six hits in 2.2 innings with five strikeouts.
Game Two
The Marlins got things started with a run in the second and extended the lead to 2-0 through six. In the bottom of the seventh, VWU scored four times, highlighted by Jordan McDonough's triple and a double from Fallon to make the score 6-0. A final run in the eighth was good for the 7-0 margin.
Virginia Wesleyan's Jacob Pilarski earned the complete-game shutout, allowing just six hits while striking out seven. E&H junior Toby Robson (Blythewood, S.C.) suffered the loss despite allowing just one run on six hits with six strikeouts in six innings.
