Fifth-year pitcher Michael Owen (Charlotte, N.C.) and sophomore pitcher Justin Day (Strasburg, Va.) represented Emory & Henry as two of 478 baseball players from across NCAA Division II to make the team. This includes a total of 38 honorees from the South Atlantic Conference.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 7.
