EMORY, Va. – In preparation for Intermont Equestrian's first season as a part of Emory & Henry College, there will be an open tryout for both the hunter seat (IHSA) and dressage (IDA) teams on Friday, September 5. The tryouts will take place at the Equestrian Center off of Exit 10 and will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Tryouts are open to any Emory & Henry student who is enrolled full-time and in good academic standing.

Potential student-riders who have questions or would like to try out should contact Lisa Moosmueller-Terry at lmoosmuellerterry@ehc.edu.

Directions to the equestrian center from the E&H campus are as follows:

Take I-81 South to Exit 10 toward Bristol.
At the top of the ramp, turn left.
At the next stop sign, turn left.
After approximately 1/4 of a mile, the Equestrian Center will be on your right.
