BRISTOL, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College Dressage Teams completed its home schedule on Sunday with an IDA Show at the E&H Equestrian Center. The Wasps' "A" and "B" Teams tied for first with 16 points with the A Team coming out on top thanks to the percentage point tiebreaker. E&H's A Team averaged 73.5% on the day while the B Team averaged a 72.81%.
Junior Emma Baltuskonis (San Antonio, Texas) earned "high-point rider of the day" honors, scoring a 78.1% in the Upper Training Level, finishing first in the level.
Sophomore Nick Martino (Bel Air, Md.) won the First Level with a score of 74.6% while sophomore Amanda Snow (Bradford, Me.) was second with a 69.1%.
In addition to Baltuskonis' win in the Upper Training Level, junior Bailey Halverson (Concord, N.C.) was third, scoring a 74.4%.
Senior Morgan Sollenberger (Concord, N.C.) and junior Karissa Donohue (Benson, N.C.) tied for second place in the Lower Training Level with a score of 71.552%, with Sollenberger earning the tiebreaker.
Junior Florence Parsley (Ruskin, Fla.) was third in the Introductory Level, scoring a 69.063% while freshman Eli Worth-Jones (Abingdon, Va.) was seventh in the level, posting a score of 64.7%.
Virginia Tech's Isabella Hernandez took home "reserve high-point rider of the day" accolades with her score of 75.2% in the Upper Training Level.
The Intermont Equestrian IDA Team will next compete at Wake Forest University on Saturday, March 21.
