Taylor tied the Emory & Henry record for touchdown passes in a game with six, becoming just the third person in program history to accomplish the feat ("Sonny" Wade, Gary Collier). His performance also ties for sixth all-time in the ODAC. Taylor finished with 281 yards on 22-for-40 passing and a 163.5 efficiency rating. He also rushed for 83 yards and caught a pass for 17 yards.

This marks the third ODAC Football Player of the Week this season for E&H as sophomore defensive back Tyler Redmond (Arden, N.C.) also earned defensive player of the week accolades. It is the first time that the Wasps have swept the league weekly awards since September 27, 2015.

Emory & Henry (3-3, 2-2 ODAC) will remain at home on Saturday when it welcomes league-leading Randolph-Macon College (6-1, 4-0 ODAC). Kickoff between the Wasps and Yellow Jackets is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
