Redmond made 10 tackles (five solo) and forced and recovered a fumble on the first play from scrimmage which led to Emory & Henry's first touchdown of the game. He assisted on a tackle for a loss which forced a turnover on downs on the Hornets' second drive and broke up a pass on a key third down in the fourth quarter.

This marks the third ODAC Football Player of the Week this season for E&H as sophomore quarterback Hunter Taylor (Summerville, S.C.) also earned offensive player of the week accolades. It is the first time that the Wasps have swept the league weekly awards since September 27, 2015.

Emory & Henry (3-3, 2-2 ODAC) will remain at home on Saturday when it welcomes league-leading Randolph-Macon College (6-1, 4-0 ODAC). Kickoff between the Wasps and Yellow Jackets is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
