It is the first time that the Touchdown Club's awards have been televised as the pandemic did not permit the club to host its annual awards banquet. Student-athletes from both the fall and spring football seasons were eligible for consideration.

Kreimes adds Defensive Back of the Year honors to his All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference First Team nod from earlier this month. He finished the season with 15 tackles making seven solo stops, an interception and three other passes defended against Southern Virginia University (Mar. 5). Additionally, he blocked an extra-point attempt against Guilford College (Mar. 12).

The Touchdown Club of Richmond recognizes seven position players annually for their performance on the field. This year's Touchdown Club of Richmond Award winners are:

•   Offensive Back of the Year – Presley Egbers, Randolph-Macon
•   Offensive End of the Year – Jaquan Ebron, Bluefield
•   Offensive Lineman of the Year – Will Jackson, Randolph-Macon
•   Defensive Lineman of the Year – Tyler DeBerry, Randolph-Macon
•   Linebacker of the Year – DaMarcus Wimbush, Bluefield
•   Defensive Back of the Year – Jaylyn Kreimes, Emory & Henry
•   Specialist of the Year – Chris Vidal, Randolph-Macon

Additionally, Egbers was presented the Lanier Award as the top Small College player in the Commonwealth by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
