Parker Coe is entering his first year as an Assistant Football Coach at Emory & Henry College. Coe joined the staff immediately after graduating from Emory & Henry in the fall of 2022 and will work with the team's tight ends during the 2023 season.

A three-year starter and two year captain on the offensive line, Coe helped lead the Wasps to a 25-18 record over his five years on the team. He was a key element in the Wasps runner-up finish in the first-ever ODAC Championship Game in the 2020* season and also played a large role in E&H's first years as a member of NCAA Division II. During the 2021 season, he blocked for Devontae Jordan's record-breaking performance of 1,853 yards for 25 touchdowns on the way to winning the Lanier Award as the top small college football player in Virginia. That season, Emory & Henry averaged more than 250 rushing yards per game and scored 34 rushing touchdowns. The Wasps also only gave up six sacks on the year on 260 passing plays as E&H quarterbacks threw for 16 touchdowns.

A native of Wytheville, Virginia, Coe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health & Human Performance with a minor in Mass Communications.
