Emory, Va. - The Emory & Henry men's basketball team was recently ranked as the 10th most improved team in the country by HeroSports.com. The team won 11 more games this season as they did the previous year. Those 16 wins and fifth place ODAC finish did not go unnoticed by the website. HeroSports.com is a ranking algorithm and sports media website for all three NCAA divisions.
Based on their Bennett Ranking system, the Wasps finished 90th in the country. Last year, the team finished 302nd in the nation. That 212 spot jump is what precipitated the ranking for E&H. The eleven-game win differential was tied for third most on the site's top 20 list.
