Emory & Henry Men’s Basketball Earns Two Spots On The Don Lane All-Classic Team

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball Team has seen two of its players named to the Don Lane All-Classic Team, Transylvania University officials announced late Thursday evening.

Senior forward Chase Branscomb (Bristol, Tenn.) and sophomore guard Colin Molden (Apex, N.C.) were tabbed as two of the five best players in the tournament with Molden earning Most Valuable Player accolades.

Molden averaged a team-leading 18.5 points per game, shooting 58.3 percent from the field, and added six assists and two steals. He had 17 points against Transylvania on Wednesday and put up an even 20 with five assists against North Park Thursday afternoon.

Branscomb put up 15.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, hitting 52.6 percent of his shots. He contributed 17 points, five boards, three assists and two blocks in Wednesday's contest against the Pioneers and added 13 points and three rebounds versus North Park.

Emory & Henry (9-0, 2-0 ODAC) will look to equal its best start since the 1992-93 season when it plays in the "Mose" Hole/Kiwanis Classic hosted by the College of Wooster next weekend.
