PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – For a second straight week, the Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball Team is receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll, D3hoops.com officials announced Tuesday. Last week's seven points represented the first time in the 19 years of the poll that the Wasps have been considered for one of the Top 25 spots in Division III men's basketball.

This week, E&H received 38 points from the 25 voters made up of coaches, sports information directors and media members across the country which places them just three points outside of the No. 25 spot.

E&H is now 14-1 on the year with a 6-0 record against Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponents. The Wasps began the season 10-0, their best start since 1992-93 when they made the NCAA Division III Sweet 16. The six wins to start the conference schedule marks the best league start since that same 1992-93 year when Emory & Henry won its first 10 ODAC contests.

Whitman College remains the consensus No. 1 at 15-0 while there has been a shakeup in the rest of the top five. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is second this week while Washington University in St. Louis is third. York (Pa.) College and Wittenberg University round out the top five.
