Emory & Henry Men's Basketball Ranked Fifth In NCAA Division III South Region

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball Team is ranked No. 5 in the NCAA Division III South Region, NCAA officials announced Wednesday. The Wasps are one of two Old Dominion Athletic Conference schools to appear in this week's regional ranking.

Emory & Henry finished the regular season with a 19-5 overall record and a 12-4 mark in ODAC play. The Wasps finished in a four-way tie for second place during the league regular season.

Emory University remains the top team in the region for a second week while Randolph-Macon College sits at second. Sul Ross State University is second while LeTourneau University sits in fourth.

E&H also has a pair of non-conference opponents appearing in the rankings. Maryville (Tenn.) College sits in sixth in the South for a second week in a row while The College of Wooster remains second in the Great Lakes Region.

Emory & Henry, seeded fourth in the ODAC Tournament, will face off against #12 Randolph College in the quarterfinals on Friday at 3:00 p.m.
