Emory & Henry Men’s Basketball Rallies Past Edgewood, 72-64, At D3Hoops.com Classic Saturday

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball Team (9-3, 2-2 ODAC) bounced back from a 15-point deficit early in the second half to pick up a 72-64 win over Edgewood College (3-8, 3-3 NACC) Saturday in the ninth annual D3Hoops.com Classic.

How It Happened
- The squads went back and forth for the first six minutes of the game with Emory & Henry leading 11-10. Edgewood then put together a 17-1 run to go up 27-14 with 8:15 to play before the break.
- The Wasps trimmed the margin to seven (33-26) before the Eagles responded to take a 38-28 intermission into the locker room.
- EC opened the second half on a 7-2 run and led 48-34 with 14:06 on the clock. E&H put up a 16-2 run to tie the contest, 50-50, with back-to-back threes by sophomore guard Dylan Felty (Bristol, Va.) capping the run.
- The Wasps got the lead for good, 59-57, with 4:25 remaining and hit four-of-six free throws in the final 90 seconds to seal the 72-64 victory.

Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Sophomore guard Tharon Suggs (Raleigh, N.C.) posted a game-high 24 points, going 7-for-15 from the field with a trio of three-pointers and a 7-for-8 performance at the free throw line.
- Senior forward Alic Wynn (Asheville, N.C.) had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds, adding three steals while senior guard Jarris Hendricks (Mechanicsville, Va.) put up 13 points and four boards.
- Felty was instrumental in the Wasps' rally, connecting on three three-pointers in the second half off the bench.

Edgewood Individual Leaders
- Emil Radisevic paced the Eagles with 18 points and seven rebounds while McClain Steffens had 11 points, five rebounds and three steals.
- Ben Seefeld put up 10 points and four rebounds and Matthew Myers added eight points.

 A Deeper Look
- Emory & Henry was 22-for-52 (42.3%) from the field with seven three-pointers and hit 67.7 percent (21-of-31) of its free throw attempts.
- Edgewood shot 42.6 percent (26-of-61) for the game with eight makes from long range. The Eagles only went to the line five times, but converted four of their attempts.
- EC held a 35-32 rebounding advantage, including a 10-8 margin on the offensive glass. The Eagles led 32-22 on points in the paint.
- Emory & Henry led 16-9 on points off turnovers, making the most of 13 Edgewood miscues.
