INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the third consecutive season, the Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball Team finds itself among the top teams in the NCAA Division III South Region, NCAA officials announced Wednesday afternoon. The Wasps enter this season's first regional ranking period at No. 7.

E&H is one of four teams from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference to be ranked in the poll which will help determine the 64-team field for the NCAA Division III Tournament in March. Leading the region is Randolph-Macon College which is also the No. 12 program in the country according to D3hoops.com. Guilford College is fourth while the University of Lynchburg is sixth.

Emory & Henry (15-6, 8-4 ODAC) has won six league games in a row and is currently third in the ODAC standings. The Wasps have played one of the toughest schedules in the region this year with contests against then-No. 22 Maryville (Tenn.) College, No. 7 Randolph-Macon College and No. 15 Whitworth University.

Second in the region is Centre College while Emory University is third. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (fifth) and the University of Texas-Dallas (eighth) round out this week's poll.

Emory & Henry will host Randolph College in an ODAC matchup on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the two squads this year.
