Player dunking and team reaction.

EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Men's Basketball program will host an individual skills Elite Camp on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 1 to 5 p.m.

The Elite Camp features instructors from the coaching staff and players and targets men in grades 9-12. All participants will get a camp t-shirt.

"We are really excited about hosting our first Elite Camp in the King Center this August," said Ben Thompson, head men's basketball coach. "We hope to attract some talented prospective student-athletes and give them a glimpse of what life is like as a college athlete. We look forward to showcasing our beautiful campus and the incredible facilities here at Emory & Henry College."

The camp will focus on offensive and defensive fundamental drills and skill work, speed, and agility. The day will be structured much like a collegiate practice and will feature a warm-up, breakdown, and 5-on-5 full-court game simulated action.

"This camp targets young men that are interested in playing basketball at the next level, as well as those dedicated to getting better at their craft," added Thompson.

The cost to attend the camp is $65. To register, please visit http://www.ehcmbbcamp.com.
