Under the direction of first-year Head Coach Ben Thompson, the Wasps return six players from last season's squad while welcoming six newcomers to the team. Leading the returners is senior guard Colin Molden (Apex, N.C.), who missed much of the 2018-19 season with an injury.

Last year, E&H posted a 17-10 record with a 9-7 mark in the ODAC. The Wasps finished seventh in the conference regular season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament with a 60-57 home victory over Eastern Mennonite University in the first round.

Guilford College is the league favorite with six first-place votes while Virginia Wesleyan University and Randolph-Macon College are tied at second, splitting the remaining top nods. Roanoke College is fourth while University of Lynchburg and Washington and Lee University are tied for fifth.

E&H opens the season on Saturday, November 9 when it hosts Keystone College at 2:00 p.m. The Wasps' first league contest will come on Saturday, November 30 at Shenandoah (2:00 p.m.).
