ASHLAND, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team completed competition in Randolph-Macon College's Ted Keller Memorial Tuesday afternoon. Led by freshman Carlos Andrade's (Guayaquil, ECUADOR) third-place finish, the Wasps came in 15th as a team out of 18 competing schools.

Emory & Henry
- Emory & Henry closed the tournament by shooting 12 strokes better than on day one (+44/324) to finish the tournament at +100 (660).
- Andrade shot 76 (+3) in the final round, moving up two spots to take third for the second tournament in a row with a score of +9 (73-76 – 149)
- Freshman Ben Owen (Rogersville, Tenn.) shaved five strokes off his round one 87 to card a +12 (82), finishing tied for 66th at (169).
- Freshman Richard Fishwick (Roanoke, Va.) had a round of 85 to card an overall score of +31 (171) while senior T.J. Widener (Damascus, Va.) dropped 14 strokes from Monday's round, shooting an 81 (+11) for the team's second-best round of the day.
- Junior Matthew Largen (Abingdon, Va.) was fifth on the team after a (90-89 – 179).
The Leaders
- Nathan Bull of Pfeiffer University added to his lead with another round under par to win the event at -5 (135).
- Pfeiffer had a pair of players tied for third at even par (140) to push them to a 13-stroke win as a team.
- Erskine College (567/+7) and North Greenville University (571/+11) rounded out the top three teams in the event.
The Leaders
- Dane Sethre-Hofstad of Gettysburg College held off his challengers, shooting a 77 to win the event with a score of +7 (147).
- Franklin & Marshall College took the team title with a score of 616 (+41) and four players in the top 15 of the 93-player field.
- Bridgewater College and Gettysburg both shot 307 on Tuesday to finish tied for second at 616 (+56).
Up Next
- Emory & Henry's final tournament of the fall season will be next Monday and Tuesday at the VSGA Intercollegiate. The event will be played at Williamsburg Golf Club in Williamsburg, Virginia.
