Emory & Henry Men’s Golf Picked 10th In ODAC Preseason Poll

FOREST, Va. – With the spring portion of the intercollegiate golf season quickly approaching, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announced the men's golf preseason coaches' poll. A vote of the league's 11 head coaches comprised the survey and sees Emory & Henry College picked to repeat its 10th-place finish from last year's championship.

Guilford College is tabbed to win the league title with nine of the 11 first-place votes. Washington and Lee University is second with the final four top nods. Hampden-Sydney College is third in the poll while Virginia Wesleyan College and Bridgewater College round out the top five.

Emory & Henry, under the direction of Head Coach Bill Pearce and led by 2017 All-ODAC First Team selection Carlos Andrade (Guayaquil, ECUADOR), will return to action at the University of Mary Washington's Eagle Invitational on Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18.

The 2018 ODAC Championships will be played over a three-day period between Sunday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 24. The tournament will take place at The Players Course at Bryan Park in Greensboro, North Carolina.
