Emory & Henry Men’s Golf Sits Eighth After Round One The Greene Turtle Invitational Sunday

WINCHESTER, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team is in eighth place out of 12 competing teams after 18 holes at Shenandoah University's Greene Turtle Invitational Sunday.

Junior Wesley Jones (Seymour, Tenn.) shot a 78 (+7) to tie for 23rd while juniors Blake Benson (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Christofer Schaff (Elizabethton, Tenn.) are tied for 27th at 79 (+8).

Junior Isfandyar Khan (Lahore, PAKISTAN) shot an 81 (+10) and is tied for 39th while senior Luke Montalbano (Rumford, R.I.)  is tied for 71st.

The Leaders
Harry Hodgert of the University of Lynchburg and Shenandoah University's Blake Woodie are tied for the lead at even par (71). Ferrum College leads the team competition at +17 (301) while Lynchburg and Bridgewater College are tied for second at +20.
