Emory & Henry Men’s Golf Remains 12th After Round Two Of SAC Championship Monday

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team remains in 12th place following the second round of the South Atlantic Conference Championship. The tournament is being hosted by Newberry College at Orangeburg Country Club in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Round Two
Junior Jhon Ojeda (Cali, COLOMBIA) moved up 10 spots into a four-way tie for 31st after shooting a +2 (72) on Monday while senior Avery Alexander (Christiansburg, Va.) fell a pair of places to tie for 43rd with a 77 (+7).

Junior Peerapol Huangching (Rayong, THAILAND) carded an 88 (+18) for the second day in a row and sits 62nd while junior Trent Gehringer (Fleetwood, Pa.) shot an 88 of his own to tie for 63rd. Junior Alex Boone (Clyde, N.C.) posted a 106 and remains 65th.

The Leaders
Coker University remains atop the team leaderboard after firing a team round of 284 to sit at +12 for the tournament. Lincoln Memorial University is three strokes back at +15 with a three-way tie for third at +22 between Anderson (S.C.) University, Carson-Newman University and Lenoir-Rhyne University.

Caleb Tidd and Jonathan Hallinger both from Coker are tied for the lead at even par. Limestone's Kristoffer Larsson and LMU's George Durkan are one shot back and tied for third (+1).
