Emory & Henry’s Trent Gehringer Wins SAC Elite 23 Award For Men’s Golf

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Emory & Henry College junior Trent Gehringer has been named the 2024 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Wealth Enhancement Group Elite 23 winner. He becomes the first E&H student-athlete from any sport to receive the award since the College joined the SAC in the 2022-23 academic year.

The award was presented at the conclusion of the SAC Men's Golf Championship which was held at Orangeburg Country Club earlier this week.

This award honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average (based on a minimum of 48 credit hours) in each of the league's 23 team championship sports that competes at the championship site.

Gehringer, a junior from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, holds a 3.964 grade-point average, studying business administration and political science with a minor in Spanish.
