Bill Mannino is in his sixth year at Head Men's & Women's Golf Coach at Emory & Henry College. He also previously served as the Department's NCAA Compliance Coordinator.

In his first five years at E&H, he has brought new life to both the men's and women's teams. He has also established an upward trajectory for the Wasps' golf programs, seeing both teams improve their average scores significantly.

Mannino joined Emory & Henry after coaching golf for 11 years at Hollins University. While at the Roanoke, Virginia institution, he led HU to a No. 28 ranking in NCAA Division III and saw two student-athletes compete in the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships, earning All-America honors. Mannino was also a member of the Division III Regional Advisory Committee for women’s golf for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Additionally, Mannino served for three years as Athletics Director and Chair of the Physical Education Department at Hollins. He managed all the day-to-day aspects of the varsity athletics program and also oversaw the physical education department. Responsible for a staff of 11, Mannino also supervised all budgeting, purchasing and facility projects.

Prior to working at Hollins, Mannino was the Head Men’s Golf Coach at Temple University for three years. He led the team to a pair of tournament victories, 16 top five team finishes and a NCAA Division I Top 100 ranking from Golfstat.

In addition to coaching at the collegiate level, Mannino has spent time as a golf professional at several clubs across the East Coast including Roanoke Country Club. In 1999, Mannino competed on professional golf tours in the Carolinas and Florida.

Mannino received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Temple in 1997. He led the Owls to a pair of Atlantic 10 Championships and was the A-10 Individual Champion and an All-Atlantic 10 First-Teamer in 1993.
