EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Soccer Team (2-0, 0-0 ODAC) made it two shutout wins in three days with a 6-0 victory over the University of Valley Forge (0-2) Sunday afternoon at home.

How It Happened
- Senior midfielder Edgar Rivas (Brentwood, N.Y.) put E&H on the board at the 8:51 mark as he struck a ball past the keeper from 30 yards out on the right side. Junior forward Tyequis Stallins (Chesapeake, Va.) was credited with the assist on what was Rivas' first collegiate goal.
- Stallins got on the scoring end of a ball seven and a half minutes later as he received a punt from sophomore goalkeeper Cole Schreiner (Atlanta, Ga.) that he turned on and hit a clinical half-volley into the net.
- The Wasps added another pair of goals before the half to make the score 4-0. Sophomore Campbell Hancock (Rapidan, Va.) scored in the 34th and 41st minutes, his first tallies in a blue & gold uniform. Stallins got another assist, helping on Hancock's second goal.
- Emory & Henry added to their score at the 54:32 mark as freshman Wil Rimer (Mill Spring, N.C.) netted his first collegiate goal.
- Sophomore forward Austin Hylton (Chester, Va.) capped the scoring in the 87th minute, heading a cross from freshman midfielder Jack Randalow (Chesterfield, Va.) to the back post.
Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Hancock led the way with two goals while Stallins tacked on a goal and two assists on the afternoon.
- Senior forward Jordan Couch (Abingdon, Va.) put four of his team-high seven shots on target.
- Schreiner and freshmen Hemza Ababneh (Midlothian, Va.) and Samuel Irvin (Charlottesville, Va.) combined for their second shutout in three days as Schreiner played the first half and the freshman duo split time after the intermission.
Valley Forge Individual Leaders
- Bryan Ardon made 11 saves in the contest for Valley Forge.
A Deeper Look
- Emory & Henry posted 43 shots on the afternoon, putting 18 on target, all the while holding Valley Forge shotless.
- The Wasps dominated on corner kicks for a second day in a row leading the Patriots, 15-0.
