Emory & Henry Men’s Soccer Defeats Johnson, 2-1, In Double Overtime Tuesday

SEYMOUR, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Soccer Team (4-5, 0-1 ODAC) got back on track Tuesday evening with a 2-1 double-overtime win over Johnson University (2-5-1) on the road.

How It Happened
- Both teams scored once during regulation for a 1-1 tie through 90 minutes of action.
- Junior forward Tyequis Stallins (Chesapeake, Va.) put the Wasps on the board, assisted by junior defender Joel Tidman (Milford, Va.).
- After a scoreless first overtime, the two squads lined up for another 10 minutes. Stallins broke through with the match-winner this time assisted by senior forward Jordan Couch (Abingdon, Va.).
- Couch's assist now puts him atop the all-time leaderboard for points in a career at Emory & Henry with 72 (30 goals, 12 assists.

- Emory & Henry will step back into Old Dominion Athletic Conference play on Saturday evening when it travels to face Shenandoah University in a key matchup.
