HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team (7-3) picked up a 7-0 win over Misericordia University Wednesday afternoon at the Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort. The Wasps only dropped two games over the seven matches.

Juniors Matt Nelson (Galax, Va.) and Adam Henderson (Abingdon, Va.) won 8-0 at number one singles and won easily (6-0, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 - respectively) at first and third doubles.

Seniors Chip Wintringham (Burlington, N.C.) and Mike Young (Lawrenceville, Ga.) won their doubles match 8-0 and won at second and fourth singles, without losing a single game.

Junior Webster Gilley (Bristol, Tenn.) blanked his opponent at number five singles as well.

Emory & Henry will complete it Spring Break schedule tomorrow when it takes on Regis College of Massachusetts.
