Roanoke Men's Tennis Defeats Emory & Henry, 6-3, Tuesday Afternoon

BRISTOL, Va. - The Emory & Henry men's tennis team (1-15, 0-10 ODAC) finished off the season Tuesday afternoon with a 6-3 loss versus Roanoke College (1-14, 2-9 ODAC). The Wasps were forced to played at Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club in Bristol, Virginia.

Doubles

Ar one doubles, Liam Davidson (Newport News, Va.) and Dalton Shipley (Gate City, Va.) fell, 8-1. Two singles were not fortunate in their efforts either. The tandem lost, 8-2. The Wasps won three doubles by default.

Singles

One and two singles both lost, 6-0, 6-1, on the day. While Shipley was defeated, 6-1, 6-0, at three singles. At four singles, Andrew McClung (Roanoke, Va.) took a 7-5, 6-2 loss. Cooper Garrett (Gate City, Va.) picked up a one-set win, beating his opponent 7-5. Six singles was defaulted to Emory & Henry.
