Roanoke Men's Tennis Edges Emory & Henry, 5-4, Sunday In ODAC Action

SALEM, Va. - The Roanoke College Men's Tennis Team (3-5, 2-1 ODAC) rallied from a 2-1 deficit after doubles play to pick up a 5-4 victory over Emory & Henry College (6-3, 1-3 ODAC) Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
- Emory & Henry got out to a 2-1 lead after the doubles portion of the match as freshman Archer Marlow (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and junior Cooper Garrett (Gate City, Va.) posted a 8-4 victory.
- Freshman Brandon McGuire (Christiansburg, Va.) and senior Andrew McClung (Roanoke, Va.) won, 8-7, at the third doubles flight.
- Garrett earned a three-set victory at No. 5 singles while McClung won by retirement in the first set at No. 6.
