ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Tennis Team has been picked to finish 12th in the South Atlantic Conference this season, conference officials announced Friday. The poll is voted on by the league's head coaches.

E&H, led by first-year head coach Jacob Marshall, returns seven players from last year's squad and welcomes three newcomers. The Wasps posted a record of 5-14, 1-11 SAC in the program's inaugural season in the South Atlantic Conference, including a win over Southwest Virginia rival the University of Virginia's College at Wise. Emory & Henry posted a 1-2 record during the 2023 fall season.
Wingate University is first in the poll with 12 of 13 first-place votes. Carson-Newman University sits in second while Tusculum University is third. Anderson (S.C.) University was tabbed to finish fourth and Limestone University was picked fifth.
The spring season kicks off on Thursday, February 29 when the Wasps host Lenoir-Rhyne University. E&H begins the month of March with a five-match road stretch that includes trips to Newberry College (Mar. 2), Converse University (Mar. 3), Catawba College (Mar. 10), Mount Olive (Mar. 10 in Salisbury, N.C.) and Lincoln Memorial (Mar. 11).
The Wasps return home briefly on Wednesday, March 20 to host Mars Hill University before back-to-back matches on the road at Wingate University (Mar. 21) and the University of Virginia's College at Wise (Mar. 23). Emory & Henry then hosts Salem University (W.Va.) (Mar. 24) and Carson-Newman University (Mar. 27) before finishing the month in South Carolina at North Greenville University (Mar. 29) and at Limestone University (Mar. 30).
E&H wraps up the season with home matches against Anderson (S.C.) University (Apr. 6) and Tusculum University (Apr. 11), before finishing on the road at Coker University (Apr. 13).
