LEXINGTON, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Track & Field Teams saw six more school records fall over the weekend, competing at the VMI Indoor Classic. The field was comprised of teams from across the Southeast, representing all divisions of NCAA and the NAIA.

Top Men's Performances
- Senior Trel Phillips (Ooltewah, Tenn.) posted a new E&H record in the shot put, finishing ninth overall with a mark of 15.21 meters and threw 12.77 meters in the weight throw (31st).
- Senior Justin Fannon (Abingdon, Va.) was 30th in the weight throw (12.85m) and posted a mark of 13.55 meters in the shot put (23rd).
- Junior Conor White (Warrenton, Va.) broke his own record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.49, finishing 26th while sophomore Jaylyn Kreimes (Sharps, Va.) was 35th in the 200 meters, running a program-best :23.08.
- The 4x400 meter relay team of White, Kreimes, junior Jackson Kaze (Midlothian, Va.) and freshman Colby Martin (Fork Union, Va.) shattered the previous record, finishing in 3:37.82.
Women's Top Performances
- Sophomore Yasmin Thorpe (Mount Airy, Md.) made it back-to-back meets setting a record in the 200 meters (:29.78) as she finished 28th.
- Sophomore Lorin Zehr (Holly Pond, Ala.) was 29th in the weight throw with a new E&H top mark of 12.56 meters.
