Now under the direction of Head Coach Shawnee Kegley, who took over the reins this summer, E&H will look to repeat their middle of the pack finish from a year ago. Senior Colt Pierce (Lockhart, Texas) leads a youthful squad that also sees sophomores Lucas Biggerstaff (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Henry Quesenberry (Christiansburg, Va.) returning.

Junior Conor White (Warrenton, Va.), who joined the track & field teams last year, will move from the men's soccer program and run cross country this fall. He will be joined by transfer Luke Vrooman (Oconto Falls, Wis.), a graduate student who competed as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and freshman James Guthrie (Dublin, Va.).

Washington and Lee University is favored to win its fifth-straight league title champion, earning nine of the 12 first-place votes. University of Lynchburg is second with three top picks. Roanoke College, Bridgewater College and Shenandoah University round out the top five.

Emory & Henry get the season started on Friday, August 30 at the Bridgewater Cross Country Challenge. The 2019 ODAC Championship will be hosted by Roanoke at Green Hill Park in Salem, Virginia on Saturday, November 2.
