MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team has seen a pair of its players selected to the NCAA Division III Mount Berry Regional All-Tournament Team. The announcement was made following the conclusion of play on Sunday afternoon.

Senior third baseman Ragan Halsey (Hillsville, Va.) and junior first baseman Caley Hodge (Elizabethton, Tenn.) were chosen as two of the top 10 players in the four-team tournament.

Halsey went a perfect six-for-six at the plate, scoring four runs, two RBI and a walk. She accounted for a pair of doubles, including a two-run drive against No. 2 nationally-ranked Berry College on Saturday.

Hodge batted .400 (4-for-10) with a run, a double and three RBI across the Wasps' three games. She went three-for-four, driving in three runs in Emory & Henry's 6-3 win over Thomas More College. Hodge went error free on the weekend, making 18 putouts at first base.

Emory & Henry finished the season with a program-record 35 wins and just their second-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. With their third-place finish in the Mount Berry Regional, the Wasps – in short – end the year tied for 33rd in the nation.
