FOREST, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team has earned the #5 seed for this weekend's Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, ODAC officials announced Monday evening. It marks the fifth straight year and sixth time in the last seven seasons that the Wasps have reached the postseason.

E&H (28-12) put up its third-best regular season record in program history this spring. The Wasps will take on fourth-seeded Roanoke College (24-16) on Friday at noon, on Field 3 of the James I. Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia.

With a win in their first contest, Emory & Henry will play the winner of #1 Virginia Wesleyan University and #8 Guilford College at 7:00 p.m. A loss will see E&H take on the loser of the VWC-GC matchup at 5:00 p.m. Both games will be played on Field 1.
