Emory & Henry Softball Ninth In Latest NCAA Division III Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Emory & Henry College Softball Team is ranked ninth in this week's NCAA Division III Atlantic Region rankings, NCAA officials announced Thursday. E&H is one of four Old Dominion Athletic Conference schools ranked in the top nine regionally. It is the fifth-straight ranking period that the Wasps have earned a regional ranking from the NCAA dating back to April 27, 2017.

Emory & Henry (28-12, 9-9 ODAC) finished the regular season in fifth place and will take on fourth-seeded Roanoke College in the ODAC Tournament Friday at noon.

Virginia Wesleyan University remains the top team in the region and the country this week with a 39-1 overall record. The second through sixth spots in the ranking are unchanged while Lynchburg College moves up to seventh. Salisbury University makes its first appearance in the rankings this year while E&H falls two spots to ninth.
