The Wasps won game one by a 10-0 score in five innings and made it a perfect 4-0 weekend with an 8-4 victory in game two.

Game One – Emory & Henry 10, Guilford 0 (five innings)
Emory & Henry got on the board in the top of the first when senior centerfielder Erin Anderson (Aylett, Va.) hit a RBI single to centerfield. The Wasps pushed the margin to 3-0 in the second on senior right fielder Rachel Smoot's (Riner, Va.) first career home run.

Up 4-0 in the top of the fourth, E&H unloaded for six runs for the 10-0 victory. Freshman left fielder Anna Thomas (Climax, N.C.) drove in a pair with a double to centerfield while junior shortstop Leanna Toler (Abingdon, Va.) drilled a three-run shot over the left-centerfield fence to highlight the frame.

Derr came up one batter short of a perfect game, as she earned her second-straight no-hitter. The two squads continued to trade runs until the top of the fifth when Emory & Henry put up three to extend its lead to 8-4. Anderson, Thomas and junior third baseman Courtney Herron (Roanoke, Va.) each drove in a run in the inning.

Junior right-hander Tiffany Cole (Wise, Va.) picked up the win in relief, allowing one unearned run on two hits in four innings of work. Guilford's Makayla Carver was settled with the loss, allowing eight runs on 11 hits while striking out five.
