LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Coming off its runner-up finish in the Seguin Regional of the NCAA Division III Tournament, the Emory & Henry College Softball Team concludes its season ranked No. 13 this week by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The Wasps move up two spots from where they entered the postseason at No. 15.

E&H (29-9, 13-3 ODAC) posted a 3-2 record in the NCAA Division III Tournament, the deepest postseason run in program history. The Wasps fell in the regional championship to national runner-up Texas Lutheran University to finish tied for ninth in the tournament.

National champion Virginia Wesleyan University ends the year as the No. 1 team in the country while TLU is No. 2. DePauw University is third in the final poll while The College of New Jersey and Birmingham-Southern College take fourth and fifth, respectively.
