Senior pitcher Avery Adkins (Goodview, Va.), senior catcher Julia Street (Glade Spring, Va.), sophomore pitcher MaKayla Dowdy (Blacksburg, Va.), sophomore first baseman Lydia Taylor (Salem, Va.) and sophomore centerfielder Mackenzie Williams (St. Augustine, Fla.) were E&H's representatives.

Across NCAA Division II, there were 610 softball players to make the team, including a total of 45 from the South Atlantic Conference.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 6.
