Game One – Emory & Henry 17, Lincoln (Pa.) 3 (five innings)
Lincoln jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first as Irlynn Richardson drove in a run with a ground ball to shortstop and Kevyn Jones plated a pair with a double down the left field line.

In the bottom of the frame, the Wasps stormed back with nine runs. Sophomore shortstop Rachel Hill (Stanardsville, Va.) and sophomore third baseman Ashlyn Rachon (Greeneville, Tenn.) each tallied three-run homers while sophomore second baseman Abigail Street (Glade Spring, Va.) had a solo shot.

In the second, senior catcher Morgan Silvis (Green Cove Springs, Fla.) got things started with a solo home run while Street added a two-run double to push the advantage to 14-3.

Emory & Henry continued to put the pressure on in the third with a two-run double by Hill highlighting the frame for a 17-3 advantage. E&H's defense allowed just one baserunner in the final two innings to seal the lopsided victory.

Junior right-hander MaKayla Dowdy (Blacksburg, Va.) earned the win, allowing three runs on six hits with five strikeouts in four innings. Freshman lefty Bailey Payne (Fairview, Va.) struck out two of the three batters she faced. Cate Liskey suffered the loss for the Lions, allowing six runs on six hits while recording just one out.

Game Two – Emory & Henry 15, Lincoln (Pa.) 0 (game abandoned in the fourth inning)
Lincoln saw Aliya Rose draw a one-out walk in the first but was thrown out stealing for an unconventional 1-2-3 inning.

The Wasps' half of the first saw them score 12 runs on eight hits and three walks, sending 17 batters to the plate. Senior left fielder Kenzie Ingo (Wytheville, Va.) notched a grand slam to right field to highlight the frame while freshman third baseman Tristyn Tofano (Roanoke, Va.) had a two-run double to center.

Emory & Henry plated three more in the second on a round-tripper by junior designated player Grace Harper (Williamsburg, Va.) for a 15-0 advantage.

The rainfall quickly increased and forced the game to be halted. After conditions did not improve, the contest was called after it was determined that a window to get the field playable and resume the game would not present itself within a reasonable amount of time. Since four innings were not completed, no statistics or results are countable according to NCAA policy and the game will officially be considered a "no contest."
