Emory & Henry Men's & Women's Track & Field Competes At Berry

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Track & Field Teams competed at the Berry Field Day Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The men's team finished 17th over the two-day event while three women competed as individuals for the Wasps.

Top Performances
- Sophomore Justin Fannon (Abingdon, Va.) finished sixth in the shot put with a mark of 12.62 meters while sophomore Trel Phillips (Ooltewah, Tenn.) was seventh (12.55 meters).
- Junior Jordan Powers (Chilhowie, Va.) took sixth in the high jump at 1.73 meters.
- Freshman Markell Moss (Wytheville, Va.) clocked a 10th-place finish in the 110 meter hurdles at :17.06 and was 11th in the 400 meter hurdles (1:00.46).
- Fannon notched a top-10 finish in the discus at 34.86 meters.
- Junior Asia Stephens (Vinton, Va.) was 25th in the shot put (8.79 meters) and 34th in the discus (24.24 meters).
