EMORY, Va. – The Brescia University Women's Basketball Team (5-8) picked up a 75-59 win over Emory & Henry College (1-4) Friday evening at Bob Johnson Court in the King Center.  The contest was the first since December 3 for the Wasps, who just finished their final exams for the fall semester.

Emory & Henry would trim the lead to 11 (37-26) going into halftime.

The Wasps came out of the locker room and went on a 6-1 run to cut the Lady Bearcats' lead to six at the 18:47 mark. That was the closest E&H would get for the rest of the contest, as Brescia scored 11 straight points over the next three minutes for its biggest lead of the game.
