FOREST, Va. – The pairings for the 2014 Old Dominion Athletic Conference have been set as the 2013-14 regular season concluded Saturday evening. The Emory & Henry College Women will travel to Bridgewater on Monday at 7:00 p.m., while the Wasp men will return to Eastern Mennonite for the second time in four days Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
The Emory & Henry women will travel to Nininger Hall on the campus of Bridgewater College to face the #7 Eagles for the second time this season. E&H won the regular season meeting between the two squads, 79-67, on Senior Day. It was the Wasps' first win over the Eagles since January 15, 2005, when Emory & Henry won a 49-48 thriller at Nininger Hall.
The winner of Monday's contest will earn the right to face second-seeded Randolph-Macon College at the Salem Civic Center on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.
On the men's side, Emory & Henry claimed the #12 seed. The Wasps will travel to Harrisonburg for the second time in four days to face the Royals of Eastern Mennonite University. In Saturday's meeting, E&H battled back from two second-half deficits, cutting the lead to one (74-73) with 2:36 left in the game. EMU scored 10 of the game's final 12 points en route to the 84-75 victory
The winner between the Wasps and Royals will travel to Salem for a 3:00 p.m. showdown with the fourth-seeded Lynchburg College Hornets on Friday.
