ATLANTA, Ga. – Taylor Blevins will have one more opportunity to represent the Emory & Henry College Women's Basketball team on the court this year as one of 18 NCAA Division III players selected to play in the inaugural Beyond Sports Women's Collegiate All-Star Game presented by the WBCA. The contest will take place at the Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, on Saturday, March 16 at 5 p.m., immediately preceding the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball national championship game.

Blevins, a senior forward from Abingdon, Virginia, led Emory & Henry to a 22-4 record (15-3 ODAC) and a second-place finish in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference this season. The Wasps were ranked as high as No. 15 in the country by D3hoops.com and were the No. 2 team in the NCAA Division III South Region for much of the season. Blevins was named to the All-ODAC First Team and the CoSIDA Academic All-District V First Team for the second year in a row and became just the second player in program history to earn all-league honors in each of her four years.

Blevins also made her mark on the E&H record book in several key categories. She completed her career at the top of the list in field goals made (561) and field goal percentage (55.5%), while finishing second in scoring (1,403), third in blocked shots (61) and tied for fourth in rebounding (807). Blevins also appears multiple times in the top five for individual season records.

Emory & Henry just completed its best four-year stretch in program history with 83 wins, a .755 overall winning percentage and a .772 winning percentage in conference games. The Wasps reached the ODAC Tournament semifinals in four of the last five seasons and made it to the league title game last year. E&H also earned its first berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2018, advancing to the second round.
