Emory & Henry Women’s Golf Completes Fall Season At Knights Women’s Fall Invitational

BUENA VISTA, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team played in its final tournament of the fall season on Thursday. Three Wasps tackled the field at Southern Virginia University's Knights Women's Fall Invitational.

E&H was unable to post a team score due to only fielding three players.

Emory & Henry
- Junior Ashley Underwood (Strawberry Plains, Tenn.) led the team in carding a 104 (+32) to finish tied for 19th.
- Senior Laura Mister (Herndon, Va.) finished 21st, carding a 106 (+34).
- Sophomore Chandler Thomas (Elizabethton, Tenn.) put up a +35 (107) to take 22nd.

The Winners
- Amanda Kelley of Bridgewater College paced the field with a +9 (81), winning the event by one stroke over Randolph-Macon College's Mia Koch.
- Bridgewater also brought home the team title with a score of +60, beating Randolph-Macon by three shots. Both the Eagles and Yellow Jackets placed a pair of golfers in the top five.

- Emory & Henry has completed the fall portion of its season and will return to action in March.
