Emory & Henry Women's Golf Concludes The Season At 2021 ODAC Championships Monday

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team saw its season come to a close on Monday with the completion of the final round of the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship. The event was held at The Champions Course at Bryan Park.

Emory & Henry
Freshman Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) shot 90 for the second day in a row to finish 18th overall (+36) while freshman McKenna Quillen (Abingdon, Va.) carved 11 strokes off her Sunday round, to move up to 29th for the event (+61).

The Leaders
No. 19 nationally-ranked Megan Kanaby of Washington and Lee University earned medalist honors, besting the field by eight strokes to finish at +5. University of Lynchburg's Emily Erickson wsa the runner-up, carding a +13 for the event.

No. 13 Washington and Lee won the team title with a score of +65 while No. 35 University of Lynchburg took second at +78. The Generals four players in the top seven of the event while the Hornets' top four were in the top 10 of the 35-woman field.
