Emory & Henry Women’s Golf 11th Following Day Two SAC Championship Monday

SALISBURY, N.C. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team is in 11th place after the second round of the 2024 South Atlantic Conference Championship. This year's tournament is being hosted by Catawba College at The Country Club of Salisbury.

Round Two
Sophomore Katie Hall (Abingdon, Va.) carded a 79 (+8), falling 13 places into a tie for 24th while freshman Abby Bradley (Castlewood, Va.) dropped eight spots to 37th with a round of 78 (+7).

Senior Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) turned in a 91 (+20) and is now 55th while juniors Lexi Humbert (Greeneville, Tenn.) and Briah Frisbee (Leicester, N.C.) are tied for 58th after rounds of 91 (+20) and 92 (+21), respectively.

The Leaders
Anderson University continues to hold the top spot as a team at +12 (289-291 – 580) with all five of its players in the top eight and ties. Lincoln Memorial University moved into second place in the team standings at +27 (304-291 – 595).

LMU's Dilyara Bulambayeva is atop the leaderboard after shooting a -1 (70) on Tuesday to sit at +1 for the tournament. Aly Francis from Anderson is second overall at +2 after back-to-back rounds of 72.
