Coker Men’s Wrestling Tops Emory & Henry, 41-10, Tuesday In Conference Action

EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Wrestling Team (4-27, 0-10 SACC) fell to Coker University (5-7, 3-7 SACC) in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action on Tuesday evening. The Cobras took the win by a score of 41-10.

The Match
- The Cobras began the dual with an 18-6 advantage due to unfilled weight classes.
- Freshman Hunter Brown (Vinton, Va.) picked up a big win by major decision (13-1) at the 197-pound weight class for the Wasps.
- Sophomore Tito Hernandez (Shelbyville, Tenn.) earned the other Wasp win by forfeit at 125 pounds.
- Sophomore Tony Washington, Jr. (Cordova, Tenn.) dropped a tough match by decision (5-2) at the 184-pound weight class.
- Sophomore Isaiah Dotson (Jonesville, Va.) and freshman Konor Gray (Winston-Salem, N.C.) each won their exhibition matches by fall.
