Kayla Zickler is entering her fourth year as Assistant Men's & Women's Wrestling Coach at Emory & Henry College. In addition to providing day-to-day assistance in the operations of both the men's & women's programs, Zickler takes the lead in women's training and recruiting.

Zickler joined the E&H staff in the winter of 2020-21 after a three-year stint at Cordova High School in Memphis, Tennessee where she served as assistant boys' & and girls' wrestling coach. While at CHS, she helped lead nine wrestlers to the TSSAA State Meet.

As an undergraduate at King (Tenn.) University, Zickler was a three-time All-American for the Lady Tornado, earning the honor as a freshman (2011), sophomore (2012) and senior (2014). She was also chosen to respresent the United States of America the 2012 Pan American Junior Championships in Peten, Guatemala where she won gold in the women's freestyle at 51 kg.

Kickler graduated from King in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and youth ministry. She holds a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary, which she earned in 2018. Zickler also holds "Copper" and "Bronze" coaching certifications from USA Wrestling as well as Personal Training and Wellness Coach certifications from the National Excercise Trainers Association.
